Osteoporosis is a bone disease that develops when bone density and minerals are decreased, and bone structure is distorted. Osteoporosis is called “silent” disease, because it has no symptoms until the first fracture. It’s most prevalent in postmenopausal women.

Iron Deficiency Anemia

Iron deficiency is the most common single deficiency all over the world. Low dietary intake, impaired absorption, bleeding, loss of iron by urine can cause iron deficiency, which, when remaining untreated, can lead to anemia. Iron supplements and multivitamins that contain iron should not be taken without healthcare team consultation, because high iron levels could lead to life-threatening disease.
