NSAIDs (Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs)

NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) are one of the most commonly used drug groups in the world. They help to treat acute or chronic pain and fever and decrease inflammation. NSAIDs inhibit enzymes that are responsible for pain and inflammation. As these drugs are used very broadly and frequently, it’s very important to recognize common side effects and contraindications.

Food allergy

A food allergy is caused when the immune system overreacts to food proteins. You can have an allergy to any food. Food allergy has imposed a global socioeconomic burden. Almost 6% of the U.S. population has a food allergy. The latter affects people of all ages, ethnicities, sexes, and socioeconomic strata. Food allergy symptoms may be diverse: from mild eye and nose itching to life-thretening anaphylaxis.

Stroke

Stroke is the medical term that describes the condition when the brain dies. The cause of stroke is loss of normal blood supply to brain tissue. A stroke is a medical emergency. Classic symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease are heartburn and regurgitation. The diagnosis is made clinically. Usually, mild symptoms relieve lifestyle and dietary modifications. Moderate and severe these should be treated with medications.
